All the above fees apply:-
1. Where the person to be interred was, immediately before his/her death
an inhabitant or parishioner of the town of Northwich or that the name of the
deceased appears on the register of electors for the wards which constitute the
town are in force at that date
2. Where a person purchasing a burial right is similarly qualified
3. Where any person who
subsequently dies having been transferred to a nursing/residential home for
medical reasons only, and who can prove they have been resident in Northwich
prior to transfer to the nursing/residential home. If the resident should remain
in the nursing/residential home for more than 3 years, then the rule of double
fees will re-apply.
4. In the case of a still-born child, where the parents (or one of them)
are, at the time of interment similarly qualified.
In all other cases the fees, payments and sums will be doubled, except
those set out above.
Monuments, gravestones, tablets and memorial
inscriptions. For the rights to
erect or place in a grave, in respect of which the Exclusive Right of Burial HAS

Searches in Burial Registers
- The Registrar at a cost of £22.00 per search can make a search in the
burial registers but you would need as much information as possible in order for
the search to take place.

Grave Planting – The Council undertake a grave planting service at a
cost of £30 per year. This service plants graves twice yearly (Spring and Autumn) and includes the plants and preparation
of the grave.
Please note: the Council does not undertake weeding and maintenance
between these two plantings.

The Government have now granted free travel to
all residents over the age of 60. Their bus pass
entitles the bearer to free travel and therefore the need for concessionary travel tokens are no longer required

Playground – There is a children’s free outdoor paddling pool
and although there are staff on duty at the park, children must not be left
unattended at any time.

The Town
Council is responsible for Whalley Road and Jubilee
Field football pitches. The cost for hire of the football pitches on
The Town
Council have 3 allotment sites – Vickersway,
Winnington and Queensgate. The Queensgate
Allotment Association independently manages the Queensgate
allotments and the Vickersway07 Allotment Association independently manage the Vickersway allotments. The Winnington allotments cost £21 per year and are still managed by Northwich Town Council.
People
will only be considered if they live within the Northwich boundaries. If you
would like to be put on the waiting list for an allotment at Winnington then this should be put in writing to Northwich Town Council,
